Teaching Prevention 2008 will be held at the Hilton Austin hotel located in the heart of downtown in Austin, Texas. The Hilton Austin is one block from the Sixth Street entertainment area and a short stroll to shopping and dining in the Warehouse Entertainment District and 2nd Street District; the hotel is also convenient to many attractions such as the Capitol Building, Bob Bullock Texas Historical Museum and the LBJ Presidential Library. The Hilton Austin is only seven miles from Austin Bergstrom International Airport.
The Hilton Austin is offering special group rates for APTR Conference attendees (reference APTR Annual Meeting when reserving rooms).
- Single or Double room per night: $169 (plus applicable taxes currently 15%)
- Triple room per night: $189 (plus applicable taxes)
- Quad room per night: $209 (plus applicable taxes)

Getting to Austin, Texas
