On May 9, 2008, APTR and the National Center for Research Resources, NIH, will host the first in a series of workshops focused on community based research. This workshop will bring together members of the prevention and public health community to help establish recommendations for academic community collaborations and partnerships with other community programs in translating science into community based practice.
