TEACHING PREVENTION 2009 | APTR Annual Meeting February 11-14 Teaching Prevention 2009 was held in conjunction with the annual meetings of the American College of Preventive Medicine. Attendees learned about the value brought to the emerging 21st-century healthcare system from innovative and effective “best practices” in interprofessional, interdisciplinary and community-based strategic partnerships focused on the teaching, research and practice of prevention.
2009 Healthy People State Coordinators Workshop April 21-22, 2009 APTR will host the 4th Annual Healthy People State Coordinators Workshop sponsored by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP). This workshop will strengthen the Healthy People State Coordinator network during phase two development of Healthy People 2020 and for implementation efforts that will follow the launch of Healthy People 2020.
