Emergency Preparedness Workshops

 

A collaborative effort between APTR and the Columbia University School of Nursing, Center for Health Policy offered workshops to strengthen emergency preparedness training activities.  Participants were trained to develop education courses utilizing competencies developed through the Clinical Competencies for Emergency Preparedness Project.  The workshops were funded through the APTR-CDC Cooperative Agreement. 


In 2006 and 2008, a series of 8 workshops were offered at the following locations:

  • Dartmouth Medical School - June 2006
  • Medical College of Wisconsin - September 2006
  • Morehouse School of Medicine - October 2007
  • Indiana University School of Medicine - October 2007
  • Marshall University School of Medicine - November 2007
  • Virginia Commonwealth University - July 2008
  • Washignton State University - July 2008
  • University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita - August 2008
