Residency Rotations in Health Policy

2009 - 2010 Residency Rotations in Health Policy - Closed

The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) is pleased to announce continuing field placements for Preventive Medicine (general preventive medicine/public health, occupational medicine and aerospace medicine) and Primary Care residents (with demonstrated interest in public health, prevention, or health policy) at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), both within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Serivces.

 

Financial Support

The following applies to AHRG and ODPHP residents

There are two and three month rotations available from: July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010, contingent upon funding. A stipend of $3000 a month wll be paid to the resident, as well as a travel allowance of up to $250 per month to help defry costs of traveling to the Washington Metro area. An Additional administrative allowance of $750 per month will be made available for the residency program.
