The 2012 meeting will feature 10 workshop-style sessions of 1.5 hour duration within 2 concurrent tracks. Each session will feature two 20-30 minute presentations followed by skilled facilitation of group discussion. Presenters are asked to submit abstracts for either:
- Session facilitation with oral presentation, or
- Oral presentation only
Abstracts must address one of the proposed meeting topics:
- Interprofessional Prevention Education: Effective approaches
- Measuring and rewarding competency in population health
- Responding to health reform: Curriculum innovations for changing times
- Structural Challenges: Gaining curriculum time and navigating turf wars
- Curricular Challenges: Teaching population health and prevention to broad student groups
- Collaborations with health professions schools and community partners
- Growth and transformation in public health education
- Curricular resources in clinical prevention and population health
- Successful practices in undergraduate public health education
- Successful practices in prevention education for health professions students
